This was the first time I took my service dog to the beach. While we were exploring, a family was fishing, and one of the little ones showed me the fish he had caught. He saw my camera and asked me to take a picture of the fish for him. I walked down the small boardwalk, saw the sun, and decided to snap another picture. The last picture I returned later early in the morning and snap it. My total experience of Cedar Beach Town Nature Preserve is beyond beautiful. I will be posting the most amazing pictures once I return.

Very beautiful beach park near me. Very well kept and clean. They have a beautiful 1-2 mile long nature trail that me and my friends always walk that leads to the main fishing pier. Many people fish down there. North shore fishing. Plenty of porgy’s, and sea robins. And they have Tiki Joe’s which is a nice Bar/restaurant on site in the main parking lot.

Paved trail in picturesque maritime forest. In and out hike could be under 40 mins. You could also make a loop via sea shore path. This LI beach is one of the best options to combine beach day with walk / hiking.

Really neat place to walk around, do beach activities, watch the sunset, fish, people watch, etc. can see deer up close and personal. Just watch out for the engorged ticks on their ears

Cedar Beach is one of Long Island’s coastal gems — clean, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing day by the water. The sandy shoreline is wide enough to spread out, and there’s plenty of space for swimming, sunbathing, or just enjoying the ocean breeze. You’ll often see people fishing along the jetty or strolling the boardwalk, and the sunset views here are absolutely gorgeous.
