Shastice Dog Park offers a spacious and fully fenced environment for dogs to play off-leash in the heart of Mt Shasta, California. Tucked away behind the baseball fields and gardens of Shastice Park, this hidden gem is the perfect spot for dog owners and their pets looking for a quiet, scenic escape. The park is surrounded by shade-providing pine and oak trees, making it an ideal destination even on sunnier days.
Visitors will find separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring safety and fun for all pup sizes. Amenities include running water, trash cans, seating with benches and tables, and plenty of parking near recreational facilities like the BMX and skate parks. Although the path can be a bit tricky to find and there’s sometimes a need for more waste bags, Shastice Dog Park remains a great option for dog-friendly hiking, pet-friendly trails, and relaxing playtime in Mt Shasta, CA.

Located near a BMX park, skateboarding, scooter, outdoor inline skating, baseball, soccer, football, children’s park, picnic area, and community garden.

Good sized dog park hidden in back of Shastice Park – near gardens and behind baseball fields – just keep walking through fields to treeline, it’s not near parking. Bit overgrown. Separate area for small dogs and larger dogs. Have been a couple times and have been the only person there.
Not accessible if it even exists.
This dog park is kind of hard to find its best to go all the way to the far parking lot next to the skate park and then walk your dog past the baseball field to the dog park. That’s kind of hidden in the corner is a rather large space with the dirt and weeds, but it’s fully fenced and has access to water. My dog enjoyed running there for a little bit, but there wasn’t any dogs there at a time.
