This park has become one of my favorites in town. It’s definitely come a long way. There are many activity areas ranging from a baseball field, volleyball court, playground for the kids, to a splash pad (open during the summer), and a basketball court. There are several tables around the park as well. It has always been well maintained the times I’ve been. The only thing I would say is the downside for me, is the restrooms being far and not enough parking.

My family and I were on a road trip. We are a bigger family, and we decided to try and NOT
eat out much, so we packed food in the cooler and saw this park on the map. I’m so glad we did. It was clean, quiet and the playground was awesome. There was a covered area to sit or some picnic tables under trees. The bathrooms were your typical park bathroom but they weren’t “dirty” just a basic park bathroom.

The Spring 2023 overhaul is nice. Entirely new and much larger playground. New swings & awnings for splash pad benches. Volleyball court sand pit is new. Newly finished and covered basketball courts (open Juneteenth 2023 with new community center).

Very nice park now. The playground was just redone, new basketball courts, the splash pad had new awnings put up, and they also have a covered pavilion area. Kids love it. Definitely recommend checking the new playground out!

You know it’s not bad and is actually really fun for my kids but the equipment definitely needs an update.

Especially the floor it’s not safe to have hard ground floor (dirt/grass) as something for kids to land on. Maybe some soft wood chips, bouncy turf, or even reused soft rubber piece as a floor would be much better.
