I walk my dogs here on a regular basis and it’s one of our favorites. We also use the canoe landing very regularly as well. Plenty of trails, I love that it’s along the river, I often see the bald eagles and lots of other wildlife.

One of my favorite parks been coming here since I was a kid. If you need to go canoeing tubing you can do it and then they also have a place where you can walk. Usually takes about half an hour to an hour depending on how much you stop or how fast you walk.

Great natural trails throughout. this is classic pure Michigan. The river is clear and cool good current. Seem ideal for fishing. Their are s couple of overlook areas and a bench only found 1 bathroom closer to the water launch. Very old outhouse style bathrooms.

This was an absolutely beautiful park. Very quiet in the early morning today! I did not go for the whole trail loop due to it getting rather hot out quickly but when i did the short loop i was pleasantly surprised to be under the shade of pines! definitely made it a nice spot to take a breath.

I got to see so many deer down at the river getting drinks or simply crossing! paid me no mind and i could just enjoy their presence.

Please enjoy the photos I took during my visit!
