It’s a great place to let the energy out of my dog. So many things to smell and dogs to play with. Water dishes available and in different locations too. Bags for waste disposal placed around as well. Picnic table and benches to sit on for the two legged friends. Shade trees make it nice when it hot. There’s also a restroom available to use.
The Park was very clean when we visited on Friday. Parks & Rec staff were there to empty the trash/poop bins…very friendly to us and the dogs. It was a very hot day but we enjoyed sitting under a tree in its shade.
Very nice shaded dog park for small dogs and a big open area for large dogs. We love coming here with our chihuahua.
The trails are absolutely beautiful. Some of the path through the woods are difficult to hike due to the storms earlier this year. Great for bird watchers and small wildlife lovers. Dog park is large and spacious with a taller fence for bigger dogs.
I haven’t been there yet, but complaints about there being a cost are unwarranted. You can purchase a weekly pass for just NULL. If you’re just traveling on 127, you can stop off at Ithaca’s Woodland Park. There’s a small park there & it’s free.
