🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]

Basin Homes Dog Park is a popular, fully fenced dog park located at 1201 N Paxson Dr in Moses Lake, Washington. This dog-friendly spot is known for its three separate running areas, giving pet owners the flexibility to find the right space for their dogs—whether big, small, or senior. The park is a local favorite for off-leash exercise and provides excellent opportunities for dogs to socialize in a controlled environment. A unique touch is the bronze fox sculpture at the center of the large dog area, which is not only a visual highlight but is also close to real fox dens that sometimes delight both kids and adults with sightings.
While the park is appreciated for being fully fenced and offering designated spaces for different dog sizes, visitors have noted the lack of lighting and limited shade, so plan your visits accordingly. Parking is available, and there are multiple gates providing secure access to the different areas. Bringing your own water and poop bags may be a good idea, as these amenities are not clearly mentioned. Basin Homes Dog Park stands out as a welcoming, community-loved destination for Moses Lake residents and visitors looking for a safe place for their dogs to run free.
Went in the dark. No lights. But fully fenced
Fun place to take your dog. All dogs seem very friendly.
The first time I went to this dog park. I found it very awesome because it has 3 separate running areas so that if you have kind of a older dog and there’s not that many dogs around, you put them in a separate place and let them have it moment of running and and enjoying the outdoorsman. Moses lake They did a good job but I appreciate it if you keep the alcohol out of the park and drugs, it’s not a drug place. Stop respect to park as a dog park not a drug area. I’ve been there at least 20 times Outstanding place for your dogs and to meet your son. That lives in moses lake that’s our meeting place and I love it
My poodles Bugsy and Ralphie were dying to get off leash. We drove here from Soap Lake to escape from the spring emergence of deer ticks. The area around town is crawling with the hideous insects, so a little drive to help get the dogs some needed exercise is rewarded with dog smiles.
Only 4 stars because of the required need to go thru 4 gates to get to the separated large and small fenced impoundments.
While watching the pooches, keep an eye open for the family of red foxes. In the middle of the large dog area is a wonderful bronze sculpture of a fox, looking south, over the sculpture’s pointed ears, about 30 yards, are several fox dens. Adults and kids sunning in the dust!
Great place! The only way I could see that it could improve would be to provide some option for shade
