Very nice little park! I stopped here on my way into Atlanta from Florida and it was definitely worth the visit. Lots of birds and spiders and not a lot of people. I saw a brown water snake, turtles, and a banded tussock moth caterpillar too. Also saw hearts-a-bursting and white beautyberry which I hadn’t seen in the wild previously.

This is a little hidden gem in Jonesboro that I recently discover. It’s easy to get access. Good parking lot. There is plenty of trail for a short walk and it is plea-surely walking. The pond with so much different type and size of turtles. I enjoy the walk and will definitely going back soon.

This was a nice 1.5 mile walk with my dad. Shady wood chip path most of the way. Some decent hills but this is a nice easy ish walking spot. Close to the highway- great place to stretch your legs. They have bathrooms and water fountains too.

Went for a 2nd visit yesterday. Even more amazing than I remembered. There are parts of this place that feel magical almost like another world. Enchanted forest vibes. I got videos of deer and turtles. The trails are well marked here. Nothing too strenuous and several routes to choose from. I even found a few parts.I had not seen the first time I came. Very peaceful here. Hope you enjoy the photos and videos.
