Jesters Creek Trail is a hidden gem for anyone seeking tranquil outdoor space and pet-friendly trails in Morrow, Georgia. Known for its forested pathways, numerous bridges, and paved surfaces, this trail offers a peaceful and scenic setting for both you and your dog. Many visitors start their adventure at the Clayton County Library entrance, which provides the most convenient parking and easy access to the trail.
With plenty of shade provided by the surrounding woods, Jesters Creek Trail is perfect for dog-friendly hiking, biking, or leisurely strolls—even on warmer Georgia days. The trail is generally quiet and not overcrowded, making it ideal for dog owners who prefer a more serene setting. However, some trail sections may be under construction or temporarily closed, so it’s wise to check current trail conditions before visiting.
Nice wooded trail and plenty of birds, the only thing is finding somewhere to park. I will go back in the summer.

I started at the library entrance to the trail so I could park. I came at about 5pm on a Thursday. There were maybe 6 other people sprinkled along the path from the Clayton county library to the “end” of the path – which abruptly stops at the edge of a field lol.
It was nice though! Paved well enough to bike or Rollerblade. The path leading in the other direction from the library was closed off, so I’ll have to head to the other entrance to walk the longer path next time!

This trail is truly a hidden gem!
My gps took me the trail entrance off a road but I then looked it up and realized you can park at Clayton County Library access the trail.
Lots of bridges and paved road through the trail. You can see houses and apartments in some spots off the trail.
I did see some trash but not like other reviews said. I also saw those bullet holes and I posted that pic lol. I would definitely come back. It’s so beautiful, peaceful and very shady in spots. Go check this place out because it was not busy there at all like other trails.

Currently under construction! While the section from the library to the stadium is fantastic, those entrances don’t bother to warn that the trail has been completely ripped up just past the bridge under Battle Creek Road with no way around, so if you were hoping to use this trail to actually get to places, you’ll only find out that you can’t after you’ve walked some distance. However, if you do live near the stadium, I highly recommend using this trail to get to the library, especially if you bike or have kids in a stroller.
