Yes we call this the sand park. We love the trail and gazebos have plenty of space to take a snack.
I absolutely love this park. The walking trail is serene and the playground is large and suitable for all ages. The only thing I would change is the sand on the playground. It’s really messy and not very sanitary when you think of the animals that may roam the area when the kids are gone. I really wish they would replace the sand with the same black top they have for the walking trail, that would be a lot better than the sand. Other than that, 10/10 would definitely recommend!
I love exploring walking trails around the city. The Morrow Park is a hidden gem.
The walking path is short but easy on the joints because it is made of a rubber material. There is an extended dirt path for individuals who desire a longer walk.
Many fast food restaurants are in close commute (walking distance). There is a large gazebo which can facilitate a small group gathering.
The Most Beautiful Public Park for All!
I LOVE to Walk and Run on the Track/Trail! It’s Safe, Clean and Very Quiet. A GREAT place to take the Kids and have a Little Picnic.
I feel Much better knowing the Fire Department is right Next Door, in case of Any Emergencies.
A nice and clean park to enjoy. There’s plenty of picnic tables both under shelter and not giving ample space for gatherings. Benches are also situated around the playground and track. The playground is sand based so bring some toys for the kiddos to enjoy. The playground is big with swings and multiple jungle gyms. Not sure if any were accessible. Surrounding the playground area is a rubber track as well as a grassy area. This park is directly behind the Cookout and Taco Bell and down the street from Cracker Barrel. We stopped to stretch our legs and enjoy dinner before heading to the Cracker Barrel’s RV lot for bed. In the evening the park stays open after dusk and has lights placed all around. This is a good stop off for our family trips we’ll be back there on our next drive through.
