There’s plenty of open space for leashed dogs to explore, and the natural terrain provides the perfect outing for pets and owners alike. Amazing! Check this off your bucket list! Well worth any concert that you’d enjoy. The amphitheater is amazing. We saw OAR in concert at night time. The rocks shine music. ON JUNE 21ST, The temperature was 99° when we arrived. Make sure you use the bathroom at the top of the entrances. They are only located at the top and the bottom. When the concert started we were in the shade, most every seat is shaded which feels good! By the time the concert ended. It was 75° and still not chilly! No need for sweatshirt or pants!
WOW. This is by far, the best concert venue I have ever been to. An absolutely beautiful natural creation with some amazing acoustics. If you can catch a concert here, you have to. The views are stunning and the sound is phenomenal.
If you get a limo car service, they can bring you right up to the top lot circle. Otherwise, there is a possibly long walk up stairs to get to the entrance of the venue. General admission at the top is farther from the stage but offers minimal walking from the top entrance and also a beautiful view of the stage and background scenery.
Now for my standard comments. This location is well kept and there are clean bathrooms at the top of the venue, in the museum. There are also portapotties around the area so those are convenient.
What a magical place. A friend recommended we visit this spot and I must say that it was totally worth the short drive outside of Denver. The rock formations are marvelous and the photos simply don’t do them justice. We were lucky enough to hear the sound check for Sting while visiting and the AV system sounds amazing. I’ll definitely come back! Our kids really liked the gift shop, as well.
So amazing! Get here if you get a chance. Go all the way up until you go through the tunnel so as to avoid too many stairs. Terrific wheel chair accessible parking at the circle lot. Great restaurant in the bottom floor of the museum area with an amazing patio. Tourist trap pricing at the gift shop.
