Krepps Dog Park is a well-maintained, pet-friendly destination nestled within a charming neighborhood at 1235 Parkview Dr, Morgantown, WV. This community dog park offers plenty of space for your furry friends to enjoy off-leash play, making it a favorite spot for local and visiting dog owners alike. The park features new fencing, ensuring a safe environment for energetic pups, and is close to scenic trails and streams, perfect for dog-friendly hiking and bird watching.
Visitors appreciate how clean and easy to access the park is, though parking is limited to roadside areas (make sure to park in the direction of traffic to avoid tickets). While the terrain can become muddy, especially in winter months, the park provides a dedicated space for both large and small dogs. Convenient amenities and the tranquil vibe make Krepps Dog Park a great stop for playtime, socialization, and a taste of Morgantown’s outdoor offerings.
Nice little neighborhood park with some trails, streams and, of course, a dog park.
Lot of bird watching opportunities abound.
Please park in direction of traffic when parking along the road. Occasionally law enforcement drives by and tickets cars parked against the flow of traffic. Also, please don’t block the access gate, it is needed for emergency and service vehicles.
It’s so great to be back here! New fencing and so clean. My fur baby had a blast again!
We were really lost trying to find the park and had to ask some people who were walking. I wish there were more signs put up to find where it’s located. Cute area for small dogs though
Stopped here on a road trip. Maybe I’m spoiled in Kentucky… the parking is far so I had no idea where to walk to and had to ask a runner. The area is entirely mud and rock. Mindy you, I’m visiting in January so I expect a little mid. This, however, is a mid pit. No grass is grown in here and the rocks are extremely dangerous for my rambunctious German shepherds who could easily misstep and hurt a limb. I truly don’t think I’m being dramatic. Morgantown needs to do better with their parks.
Took my dogs here for the first time this last week. Was well maintained and super easy to access. Plenty of space for the to run around. The water is turned off for the winter so I would bring some for your pup if you plan to be there a while.
