Montpelier Dog Park, located on Adams St in the heart of Montpelier, Idaho, is a welcoming space for pet owners seeking a well-maintained, fenced area where their dogs can run and play off-leash. The park is situated within a broader recreational area featuring playground equipment and a baseball diamond, making it a great choice for families looking for a spot where kids and dogs are both entertained.
This dog park stands out for its nicely fenced dog play zone, benches (including one in the shade and one in the sun), and a fresh water pump to keep your pups hydrated after play. While there are positive notes about its open space and convenience, visitors have mentioned a desire for more trees to increase shaded areas. Easy access, proximity to other park amenities, and on-site restrooms make Montpelier Park a convenient and enjoyable stop for both locals and travelers exploring pet-friendly trails in Idaho.
Our dog LOVED it. There’s a bench in the shade and one in the sun which is nice. Also fresh water and space to run!
Nicely fenced area right when you come into the park. We were there in a Saturday evening and the only ones there. There are playground toys nearby for the kids.
Fun place for the dogs to run, and a water pump to quench their thirst. Bathrooms for the humans. Gave only 4 stars because it could use some trees for shade.
A wonderful small town park with plenty of fun things to do. They have the toys for kids to play on, a track to walk or run on, a place to take your dog to run, and a baseball diamond. For such a small town, they know how to have fun!!
We came here to use the attached baseball fields, and I noticed the dog park wasn’t being used the whole time we were there. It looks like a great place for dogs to run around and play. It sure could use some shade trees, though!
