Beautiful park that we didn’t know about and is only a short car ride from the house. We went on a snowy day and were alone in the park. We tried to find the waterfall but failed. After following the yellow trail we jumped on the red trail which is a little more challenging but nothing crazy. While the trails are well marked we had no idea where we were going. We couldn’t find any map that showed us the trails but we will be coming back again to explore more. There are plenty of picnic tables all around to enjoy the water and scenery. Beautiful place for a nice stroll to clear your head and connect with nature.
It’s a lovely park, structures with lots of picnic tables to get out of the sun and rain. Great hill for sledding, good park for kids, and a pretty interesting scenic trail with water and bridges!
Really really nice park. There’s a pretty nice river.
Beautiful picnic areas.
Good for all ages.
There’s 3 hiking trails yellow/orange/red. Went on the orange trail and it was very very nice.
(It’s starting with the yellow and then it splits direction and you can decide which color to take)
What a beautiful spot! Lots of private areas to enjoy the sounds of the river. Clean restrooms. Playground, benches and lush grass. Hiking trails and field. Day camp sign indicated limited hours to public during the week. Just bring your favorite sandwich and a book!
Well kept park next along the banks of the East Mongaup River. Had a 15″ brown trout and a 12″ hit in one stretch of the river.
