Always an amazing experience at winding hills when camping. The ranger was super nice and checked us in for the evening. We had an electric hookup spot so it was NULL for one night- FYI- there are no full hookup spots at this campground. We stayed here on a Saturday night on an off holiday so it wasn’t too busy – but definitely book ahead of time on holiday weekends for a spot. There are multiple trails you can take to hike on or you can walk the roads which are well paved. We took our dog with us and everyone seemed respectful of the leash policy which is great since we have a fearful dog and we wanted this to be a positive experience for her. The one family across from us decided to blare their music at one point in the evening, but the ranger came right up and asked them to turn it down respectfully since a majority of campers are quiet here. There are campfire rings provided and picnic tables at every site. Park is very well maintained daily and the bathrooms are very clean for being a campground. They clean them in the morning and in the evening which I find is awesome.

Beautiful lake. Hard bottom boats or kyacks. No swimming at this lake. Kyack launch. Cannot walk out on the dock, which is a little disappointing. Several trails and little areas to extend your fishing experience. Free entry. Ample parking. Dog friendly, on leash, pick up after them.
