Hackberry Dog Park in Mont Belvieu, TX offers a large Texas-sized space with separate areas for small and large dogs. The park features paved walking paths, wheelchair accessible parking, and a water fountain at the entrance, which dogs seem to appreciate. While the park is spacious and inclusive, welcoming dogs of all ages and abilities, there is limited shade and some flooding in spots. Although there are bag stations for picking up after pets, additional shaded benches, more water fountains, and poo stations would enhance the experience. The park is near a lake where dogs can watch water activities, but no swim area is indicated.

Great dog park, there are paved walking paths and lots of space. My dog had a great time sniffing around. There’s a bag station at the entrance which is super helpful. This is the only water fountain my dog has ever used. There were some people jet skiing on the water beside the park so if your dog is noise sensitive that might spook them.

Puppy got to meet other puppies his age at the smalldog-park. Appreciate the liberality of hackberry in including dogs that are young and elderly or sick/disabled in the small dog area. More dog parks should be like hackbrry.e

The large dog park is great. The dogs love watching that power sports place run their boats and skis on the lake next door.

Would love more shaded benches, poo stations and water fountains towards the far side of the park.

my girls love it here. if your dog is a mud roller beware 😉 I feel they should fill in some of the spots that flood or I’d give a better review. no bathrooms just lots of mosquitoes

Looking for a Texas sized dog park, you found it. Large and small dog separators. Unfortunately very little shade and the water fountains were not working for our visit. Lots of doggie discharge nuggets on the lawn leading to the park and in the park. Inside the park makes sense as it’s so large if your pup wasn’t nearby it may be easy to miss. No excuse for all the nuggets outside the gates. Wish visitors did a better job of picking up after their pup.
