Located at 340 Grand Ave in Monrovia, Kiwanis Park is a cozy pocket park nestled in a residential area. While it’s not officially a dog park, it’s a popular local spot for families and community members to relax and play. The park features several amenities including picnic tables, slides, swings, and a small playground, making it a great option for those looking for a kid-friendly space. Visitors appreciate its quiet, private atmosphere and ample parking, which allows for convenient visits anytime.
Though Kiwanis Park is not specifically designed as a dog park and there are no designated off-leash or fenced areas for pets, it is a spot where local dog owners sometimes bring their pets. The friendly neighborhood vibe means that dogs and owners often get along and can socialize, though all dogs should be leashed and supervised for safety. Shaded areas, creative playground features, and unique touches like rainbow stairs and birdhouses add a special charm to this Monrovia park.
Good place to hangout and play pokemon go!
Beautiful pocket park above, with larger park below. Four picnic tables and some playground equipment. Quiet.
It is very nice there just needs a bathroom. It is a very nice place for children to run and play, no worries of them running out in the street. The sign says it is for children for 2-5, my granddaughter is 7 and still has fun there. It is great if you live right by the park you can just go home to use the bathroom. We do find nice people to talk to and children to play with. It is not a dog friendly park, nevertheless sometimes when we go if people from the neighborhood are out with dogs it is great all the dogs seem to get along.
Cute park. Pretty small and private. Im a residential area. Ample parking.
Cool Rainbow Stairs. Look for bird house that are hung from random tree branches. Nice park to have. A picnic and escape the city
We had a great time today with Bahà’is, friends and family. However didn’t realize there was no bathroom at this park. 😐
