Veteran's Park
Veteran’s Park in Monroe is a beautifully maintained and spacious park featuring a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and clean restrooms. It offers wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, scenic walking paths along the river, a charming bridge over a creek, and great spots for family activities and photography. The park welcomes dogs and provides a relaxing environment with wildlife and outdoor amenities.

Beautiful spacious park with great views, and plenty to do for everyone. Go let the kids play while you take a walk on the path down a little ways. You can still keep an eye on the kiddies and enjoy a little me time. The bridge is a nice added touch for beautiful pictures and the sounds of the water and wildlife are relaxing. Plenty of area to fly your drone without interrupting passerby’s. Careful though, there are geese droppings everywhere.
Beautiful little park with a fun bridge over a creek that allows the fish to swim up around the spillway during fish runs. There are three pavilions, two small ones nearer a small playground and one larger one further away. The park has two single stall bathrooms.
A beautiful little park to enjoy nature, play on the playground, or get some great family photos.
We visited on Memorial Day weekend. It’s a beautiful supported and maintained Veterans Memorial. The walk along the river on a beautiful morning, honoring those that serve was great. Also enjoyed the wildlife on the river.

Stumbled upon this jewel of a park in Monroe today!! The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and it was just an all around beautiful park!! There was also a very nice playground (not pictured). Last but not least the bathrooms were CLEAN!!! And there was a water bottle fill up by the water fountain! Great job Monroe!! 👏🏻👏🏻
