Very easy trails. Pretty hard to get lost. It is a lovely walk along the north end of the reservoir on either side of the road.

Great place to go out and do some boating and fishing without being bothered . You can also do night fishing in peace as well

It is a beautiful park where you can walk nice trails,if you are in a wheel chair or walker you need to be careful as you approach the boat rental building it slopes towards the lake and can be hard to navigate. They have a outdoors display that has many taxidermy preserved animals as well as some living. You may even get to see the Goodyear blimp as that is where it is stored.

Nice area to stop and check out the local bird’s there was 3 rather large Martin houses all occupied by a variety of different birds with a lot of activity.
There’s a nice trail that winds around the lake for the walkers and hikers or nature enthusiasts like us.
Quite a few people were fishing along the bank and from the dock.

If you’re into Rocks or interesting fossils etc. There’s a beautiful Concretion formation with a plaque better explaining what it is, on display here. Very interesting.

Some damage occurred here and is in the middle of being repaired right now, so areas are taped off currently around the main building. But it doesn’t interfere with anything.

I’m only giving 4 stars, not 5, because people suck.
I was really surprised at the litter I saw, especially in the parking lot area and all along the Wood line area as well as a few plastic bags, beer cans and other debris along the shoreline in the water. I picked up as much as I possibly could. There’s zero excuse for this, EVER!
Plus there’s a large dumpster provided at the edge of the parking lot conveniently located across from the main building and picnic area. You can’t miss it.
Why do we as humans not care or respect our parks or Mother Earth?
