Very nice park. Lots of room to play. Good access to river. Very clean. I like how they have dog toys, and doggie poop bags ready if needed. Will be coming back to visit again. Our dogs love it there
The park itself is quite good. However, there is a large group of homeless people under the pavilion. I’m good with that, but little kids are often concerned.
From what people tell me it’s more like the slum Dog Park. There’s some there’s like a couple trees there for a little bit of shade. It’s right next to the railroad tracks and a very busy road. There’s really no grass there at all. One dog got amped up when a motorcycle drove by and it fit another dog in the side and punctured her so those people left and it’s a good thing I had to hold my little guy because if he would have been over there that dog would have killed or hurt mine badly. It’s more like a rough Park and they don’t control their animals it’s pretty hectic when there’s a lot. I know a lot of people quit taking bear animals there in 30 minutes to the one out by the animal shelter. I will never take mine back there again. It’s an okay place for people who can’t get to another park with their animals.
This park is a great place to let the dogs run and play. The playground nearby is great, making this a stop the whole family can enjoy.
It’s nice we have another dog park. It’s clean and well maintained. But not nearly as much fun as watching the dogs play in the streams at the other dog park. They should install like a dog obstical course or something for them to do.
