I don’t understand why people told me to bring my dog here “to swim offleash in a canal”.
There’s a helicopter, some barbed wire fencing, a lot of ticks, and a massive amount of land.
I encountered no canal, no water, no signage.
Basically a huge dog park. Busy on weekends and after 5pm. Water from June through late September. Mostly good people and good dogs. There’s one idiot family that bring their goats out here like they are dogs. It causes chaos every time these irresponsible @holes are at the DNRC. Overall a great place for dogs and their people.
Great place for am off leash walk
