Wasn’t sure what to expect, and we were blown away!! Brought 2 puppies for the first time, and both the 4-legged and 2-legged folks really enjoyed ourselves. Facility is very well cared for. The patio is one even non-dog breweries should be jealous of. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and really expressed a passion and CARE for both the dog’s well-being, and wanting the dog dad’s and mom’s to be able to kick back and relax. The interaction between staff and “the regulars” is obvious there is great community here. Looking forward to becoming a member of the pack! 4 out of 4 paws, for sure! 🐾🐾
We may have just visited at a slow time (Thursday evening), but there weren’t many dogs around during our visit. The overall setup isn’t ideal compared to other dog bars we’ve been to. The bar area is separate from the indoor dog play space, so you have to leave your dog behind to grab a drink, which isn’t very convenient. The outdoor area is also detached—it’s located behind the building and only accessible via a sidewalk, which makes quick potty breaks more of a hassle and doesn’t help reinforce outdoor bathroom habits. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. While it has potential, the layout makes the experience a bit disjointed.
We’ve been here many times and always have a great experience! The staff are all very friendly and prompt about handling any fights that break out and cleaning up after potty accidents. It’s a great option on the bitter cold winter days or rainy ones. Heck, the patio in the summer is great too!
I’ll preface this by saying dog parks make me nervous because dogs are gonna dog. My partner and I visited this place a few times and our, at the time, 9 month old puppy absolutely loved coming to play, especially on cold days. We quickly decided to get a membership. We hadn’t gone for a while and once we returned, an older dog put our puppy in his place, which freaked him out quite a bit. The staff were INCREDIBLE. They immediately separated both our dogs and came and made sure we were safe AND comfortable staying. Same with the other dog. They had the dogs play in two separate areas while they calmed down. We continued to have a great day and even had the dogs meet in a controlled environment later on. When we visited again, there was a dog who looked similar and my dog was hiding because of that one run in. The staff took an extended amount of time to make sure he felt comfortable again and more or less re-socialize him to the environment. He ended up coming out and having another great time. 3 visits later, our dog is happy as a clam and very comfortable coming to unleashed again. Sometimes he hangs out with the staff more than the dogs. 🙂 Beyond that, great beer, great sausages and apps, FANTASTIC community of members, fun member nights, and just a great atmosphere overall. We even got a free Fi collar when we joined which is great for tracking our dog when he’s on walks with others and for making sure he gets sufficient activity on cold days. Our pup is 11 months now and runs to go play every time we hit the parking lot. Friends are allowed to come along and we’ve convinced a few to become frequent flyers. Our puppy leaves happy and exhausted every time. If you’re nervous, give it a try. It’s completely worth it. We can’t wait to visit when it warms up and we can go on the patio, too!
