FAQ for Lake of the Isles Dog Park in Minneapolis Minnesota:
More than a few well intentioned owners with little dog training experience. Very convenient for Uptown residents. People mostly pick up their poop. There is a small dog area and large dog area.
Super beautiful spot along the lakes. Entirely fenced in. Tons of space to run. Went around 9am on a weekday and lots of dogs! Will definitely be coming back!Would recommend bringing your own poop bags and your own water for your dog. The park unfortunately doesn’t provide any kind of water or any extra dog poop bags 🙁
My dogs love this park. It’s nice and shaded, clean, and there’s two separate areas. They have a small dog section and one for bigger dogs. There’s also an area for disposal of dog waste. Great park.
Great little spot to get your dog outside. Not the biggest by far but a great Park
We went near dusk and it was surprisingly chill. Not huge but also the factThat it had a spacious (if a little boring) back part felt nice. It has a separate section for dogs 20 pounds and under which was a cool feature. Definitely a place to wear tennis shoes or shoes that are sturdy on your feet. Mostly mulch and soft Earth. Great exercise but a little bit of a nightmare wearing flip-flops :-). Other notables are several benches to sit on, plenty of tennis balls if that’s your thing, and trash cans right outside the perimeter.
