We attended the holiday festival. The schedule looked good in terms of kids activities. We went on the last day an hour before closing, so not much was going on. If the holiday festival comes back next year, I would advise checking the events calendar.

Mineola Memorial Park is a very nice family park. There are two small playgrounds, swings, 2 tennis court areas, plenty of grassy areas to sit and bring a blanket or chairs, benches spread out through the park and public bathrooms. They also have concerts during the summer. The Mineola library is also next to the park.
I always love coming here the place that I met my husband😀. His family born and raised here for generations just 2 streets away where I also lived with my dear Tomi for 6 years,it’s a memorable place.
Sometimes they got concert here and lots of activities that you can check out. Library are just within this area. A good place to go unwind. I was her caregiver for 6 years 24/7 to this awesome elderly Tomi, who is very talented that I’ve learned a lot from her. I don’t want to find teaching job because of her that I decided to just wait. 🙏❤️
