This is a fantastic easy paved walkway with scenic views sprinkled here and there. There is at least one trail that goes off into the woods to a water area.

I’ve gone at various times and have always found the people walkway, jogging, or riding their bikes to be friendly. You’ll also see dogs on leashes. If you go early enough, there will be less people.

I enjoy the views from the bridges overlooking the water.

Great walking and or ez hiking area. In mid April, just a slice of invigorating heaven to be so rounded in. Went on a day in the upper 40’s to Lo50’s, so it was crisp hiking but just the way I Luv it. Not just the paved bike surface trail to the Triad foot bridge.. SO MUCH MORE, BCS there are plenty of dirt trails that branch off and bring you to various places, INCLUDING THE OTHER SIDE OF The BLACKSTONE GORGE AREA. For this type “mini expedition” load up a hiking app on your fully charged phone tho, BCS it helps to have an overhead view of where you are, if attempting to hike to the back side of the Blackstone Gorge area which is also extremely spectacular and very satisfying.. a great mini-adventure !
