Multiple fallen trees on the trails; this is not a well maintained park. The red trail also shares its beginning with a road which becomes private property. We accidentally continued down the road and the owner came out to scold us for trespassing. In retrospect, the sign is obvious, but we were chatting and not really paying attention to our surroundings until the road lead us out of the forest and we became confused. Anyway, the park is nice for locals to have, but not worth any detour to see, especially with the fallen trees situations. Cute picnic area though!

Another update on this park. Trails have been cleaned up and marked properly. There are new park benches and picnic tables sprinkled around for the enjoyment of visitors. You can check out the bluebird nest boxes in the north field during spring and summer and see lots of bluebird and tree swallow activity. A great place to take little kids and dogs on leash. just keep an eye out for poison ivy in certain key places.

Wanted to make sure the reviews reflected the changes that have been made. The trails have been cleaned up by a good samaritan and now it’s a lovely little hike. Great for getting out some extra puppy energy but you don’t have a ton of time for a full hike.

Trails overgrown and not marked well. Wouldn’t recommend

Small local park that could be great with a little TLC. We had difficulty finding the colored trail markers and turned around because of a huge downed tree. The park is over grown with weeds and poison ivy.
