The gps location isn’t the parking lot or the trail entrance. Couldn’t find the place.

Beautiful hike, surrounded by nature and small wildlife – the only downside was that because of the trail’s proximity to surrounding roads, you could still hear cars passing by depending on where you were.
Regardless, definitely a hidden gem in the area and worth a hike. Make sure you have proper shoes on, it gets muddy in places!

I’ve visited the Glenhurst Nature Trail section of the park; which is accessible from Mountain Ave in Warren. It’s a great hidden gem; few people actually know it exists. There are several miles of loop trails and you will definitely see some wildlife once you get towards the back of the park along the Passaic River. Be advised: this area is a floodplain for the river, so some of the trails might be washed out during spring or a particularly rainy stretch of time. In summer it won’t be a problem, but I had to get creative to find my way around some big pools of water.
