Quiet little section of the park. We went for day-use only so I can’t comment on the camping, but there is a small sandy beach, picnic tables, lots of space, shade and restrooms. Staff are helpful and friendly. No lifeguards in this section of the park (which was fine by us). Reasonable boat rentals. Not much hiking from here. Facilities are ‘tired’ but functional. Today I stopped by a naturalist lesson which was fun and informative for both children and adults.

Beautiful setting on the lake! Facilities are good, lots of water taps, firewood available. The campsites are pretty open, so not much privacy.

Gorgeous hiking nearby, but we encountered 5 rattlesnakes, so stay alert.

Great place to camp, but this entire campground does not have signal for TM, if you need service you need to go to the abandoned house area to catch a signal. The facility for in great conditions, hot shower and clean bathroom, you can do fishing and kayaking in the lake. If you don’t have a 4×4 or AWD, avoid booking site #6 to #10, the tent platform is on a slope

Absolutely love going here.. It has a sanded beach area and multiple tables/ grills. We brought charcoal and grilled up some burgers and dogs.

If you have a small boat/ kayak with a permit you can bring your own and the boat lauch is located just outside the entrance to the park, or there are boat/ kayak rentals for NULL/hr (I also saw people enter with them and then walk them to the water from inside the park as well), beautiful playground and 9 hole disc golf. Camp sites also available

It cost NULL per car and well worth it in my opinion.. The water was great and so were the people.
