🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Butler Farm Dog Park is a spacious, fenced-in members-only dog park located on Singletary Road in Millbury, MA. This pet-friendly park is set on a hillside with grassy areas and is known for its extensive agility equipment, making it a top choice for dog owners looking to train or let their pups burn off energy. The park’s secure fencing, double-gated entry, and designated small and large dog areas ensure a safe environment for all dogs.
Dog owners appreciate Butler Farm Dog Park’s unique features, including a dog washing station, convenient water stations for dogs, and well-maintained obstacles from dog shows. While the small dog area is limited in size, the park overall provides plenty of space for off-leash play and training. Guests should note that membership is required to access the park, and wheelchair-accessible parking is available. Remember, the park can get muddy at the bottom after rain, so prepare accordingly!
Nice, fairly large dog park. The most notable thing is the wooden structures that the dogs can climb up and play on. A lot of them are obstacles from dog shows, so if you’re looking to train your dog up then this could be a good place to do it. My main complaint is that the small dog area is very small with not much in it, and that since the park is on a hill the ground at the bottom is often muddy so if you have a playful dog be ready to give them a bath after a visit here!
Great space with dog obstacles for fun or training.
Great place to bring your dog to burn off some energy and socialize. Fenced in. Off-leash. Members only.
Ok, Yes, it’s members only. At the time of this review, Membership required 2 minutes of paperwork, and NULL. Not the end of the world. Yes, you have to obey rules. Not unreasonable.
On the plus side, it has a secure fence system, dog washing station, dog watering station, and a HUGE area for the dogs to run around in, and well maintained equipment for them to climb / run / over / under/ around.
Only negatives I can think of, is for the unfamiliar, you might think you are driving into somebody’s backyard. 🙂 Have faith, Google maps is accurate. Also a Human bathroom would be nice.
Was not able to actually go into this park, since entrance is restricted to members only.
Seemed to be a nice, multi-level park on a hillside. Lots of grass.
Dog washing station at the exit (hose and pool) but I am disappointed that we couldn’t visit without registration
I believe that dog parks should be public and free
