Very well maintained KOA with a larger store in the main building than we usually see. It’s in an odd location and gets a little noisy with the train nearby, but the office offers earplugs if you’d like. The large trees provide a lot of shade and there is plenty of grass for walking dogs. We had a paw-pen site and while the size of the pen was great, it took up a great deal of the “patio,” leaving not much room for anything else. My preference would be to have the picnic table and chairs outside the pen (so dogs aren’t peeing on them). Just something to consider. Otherwise a great place for a night’s stay.

Stayed here with our extended family for our annual summer trip and it was simply lovely. We enjoyed great camp hosts, fantastic owners (and everyone’s lovely dogs!) and good tent neighbors! Everything is kept clean. The camp store, stocked with trinkets local to Montana, plus any last minute things forgotten at home, was a delightful surprise! Kids loved the pool and journeying down the road to collect agates and other fun rocks. Miles City KOA sets the bar for the camping experience our family enjoys!

We loved this koa!! The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The sites are huge with long full hook up pull through gravel sites. There is a lovely covered shelter right outside the laundry area with tables, comfy swings, grills etc. There is some occasional train noise, but it’s not intrusive.

We stayed one night on a roadtrip heading west. This has to be the cleanest campground that I have ever been to. The pride in ownership was definitely noticed. The morning that we were checking out I noticed staff on the grounds raking the gravel pads, watering the grass and tending to the rest of the grounds. Their hard work shows in how tidy and clean the grounds are. Thank you!

Due to a series of misfortunes, it had been a very frazzled day for my wife and me as we traveled across Southeastern Montana. We were both tired and frustrated when we got here; however, we were immediately greeted with wonderful hospitality and absolutely gorgeous accommodations. We truly had a great time and we are extremely thankful to our hosts! Thank you so much for such a great cabin and a truly nice experience. We will definitely be staying here whenever we can, and look forward to our returns.
