Harry Haney Memorial Park is a well-loved, 16-acre community park in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Known as a sports complex with a welcoming atmosphere, the park is also a great spot for dog owners seeking a pet-friendly area to let their furry friends play and unwind. With plenty of open space, scenic trails, and clean, well-maintained grounds, it offers a relaxing destination for both locals and visitors alike.
The park boasts a variety of amenities: from playgrounds and picnic areas to riverside walking paths, benches, and shaded seating under mature trees. Dog owners appreciate the clean environment, the chance to stretch their legs on the nature trails, and the safety of being right behind the local police station. Families enjoy the combination of recreation opportunities for both kids and dogs, making it the perfect place for a day out in Union County.
Primarily a sports complex, but it is a nice 16-acre park. This place just needs some tidying up, especially the trails. There is no excuse for flag poles with no ropes and hooks to put up our national and state flags, and Memorial Day is upon us! Volunteers from Little League and local churches, as well as the family of Harry F. Haney, are doing a pretty good job with maintaining the ballfields and park with their own very limited resources. This is a publicly owned park, and the Borough owes it to the citizens and their children to help make it better now and for future generations! More volunteerism from the community in general wouldn’t hurt, and I think that part will improve thanks to MiffCPAP. The recent officers of The Harry F. Haney Memorial Park Committee, the maintenance and fundraising non-profit organization for this park, needed to do much better in their total mission for this park in the last 5 years or so.

We enjoyed the dog park here. We were vacationing nearby and wanted a place for our girl to run. This was the perfect place! Very clean and well tended

Great little park for kids and dogs to stretch their legs. Playground equipment looks like new.

Nice playset, nice stream, but the path along the stream isn’t maintained well.
