Nice dog park & children’s play area. Not really a rest stop as some apps suggest.

Good to have a dog park in this location. You have to deal with traffic noise on both sides of the dog park. No water or shade for the dogs. Has one bench.

For what it is, this dog park is great. We are traveling through and our pups needed a break. Don’t mind the brown grass. We were here during the winter months.
The park is well maintained and clean. The location is convenient for travelers, being just off 40.
Parking is set up to accommodate both normal and larger vehicles/vehicles towing trailers. There are only 3 spots for the larger vehicles, but that is understandable considering the space.
There is a play ground on the other side of the visitor center so kids can get a break too. I wish the dog park & play ground were next to each other, but I understand why they aren’t. There is also a pond & walking paths on the play ground side. All in all, a good dog pool park. Our pups were happy for the break.
