Located conveniently in Midland, Michigan, the Midland Dog Park offers a spacious, well-maintained environment for dogs of all sizes to play and socialize. Featuring dedicated areas for both small and large dogs, this dog park in Midland is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The park is designed with accessibility in mind, including wheelchair-accessible parking and entrances, making it welcoming to everyone.
Visitors enjoy plentiful open space, agility obstacles, and the natural beauty of the nearby marshland—which can make some areas wet after rain, so prepare accordingly. The park provides essential amenities such as poop bags, trash bins, a dog water fountain just outside the fenced area, and seating for owners. For those new to the area, parking is easiest near the Tridge or by following signs from M20 past the golf course. Bring your furry friend, throw a toy, and enjoy one of Midland’s most dog-friendly destinations!
We love taking out Scottie and mini dachs to the small dog park. The only downside is the dachshund is constantly hunting. She escaped between the fences last time. I feel like this time we spent more time trying to escape proof the parameter that it wasn’t enjoyable. ( For us anyway) . With that said, we will continue to take them because they seem to enjoy it.
If you’re from out of town trying to find parking is horrendous. My maps took me on 20 which is kind of a confusing way. But when you do find it there is nice parking in other areas of the park by the Tridge. Follow the signs.
It’s a nice big, beautiful park. The small dog area is very spacious which isn’t always the case in other dog parks. My girls loved it. Bring water for your pups.
It is a fairly large park with separation between small and large dogs. It tends to be on the wetter side due to being right next to a marsh. They do provide dog poop bags and a trash can. There is a dog water fountain outside the park. There are a few obstacles you can run your dog through as well. I only visit it when it’s warm and there’s no rain for a few days. You can walk from the Tridge or take the road off of M20 and pass the golf course. Those are the only ways in.
We love taking our dog to play here! There’s not always other dogs there, so I would recommend bringing a toy to throw just in case. But we always have a good time!
Great dog park! Lots of space and plenty of poo bad dispensers. Went at 8am and had the entire park to myself.
