This nice little spot at the Catoctin Creek Nature Center is perfect for cooling off on a warm day. The beach area has a lot of smallish rocks, so water shoes are a good idea. When we went the water was low and calm with a gradual slow to an area about 3 ft deep – great place for young kids.
