Enjoyed my bike ride on this trail! Plenty of beautiful sites to see in Amish country!
I found this park last year and absolutely fell in love with it. Lots of natural trails with amazing views. Paved trail options as well. You can easily choose to make it a short easy hike or if you want more of a challenge take the natural trails through the gorge. It does require crossing several creeks and offers varied terrain. The sugar bush section is neat and shows you how they collect maple sap. Beautiful views from the pond. Multiple areas to park. There are restrooms available throughout. Even though there are always allot of cars when I go I never run into allot of people and it makes for a very peaceful hike. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages.
Nice paved and forrest trails. Nice pond for fishing. Picnic tables & nice bathrooms.
Always clean and well kept great please for a hike. Not usually too busy.
I have been going to this park for many years, and I still enjoy it. Even still, I discover new things around the creek and woods. Many cool trees, if you explore. Sycamore, tulip, oaks, hickory, the odd birch. Some of pretty decent size. The creek is a great area to find and learn about amphibians and fish. Seemingly endless creek chubs can be caught with rod and reel, and many small species can be caught with a net, like dace and darter species. I have seen red eft salamanders roaming near the creekside, and Northern water snakes swimming.
