To bad the beach is closed here. Wanted to put my kayak in. They said I could for five minutes . No sense. Stupid bacteria. Most of state parks and other lakes are closed, it a beautiful park . Volley ball, hiking, great place . Beautiful place. It was nice having the park to myself. It was like a ghost town. Think it awesome that they got parking for active and veterans.

Lake beach swimming place . Good for kids . Sand beach . Picnic area , shower and restroom available.
Recreation area is 1 mile far from office location. It’s visible from road .
You can bring food for picnic. Park ranger available for security which is good for safety.
Once you enter park you may find parking but don’t park there . Go inside straight.
Ample BBQ spot are available . Bring your own charcoal and enjoy . Restroom is small but okay for the purpose.

Super fun place to go for a walk or just to eat with family. It’s very adventurous especially for the hikes but always stays chill at the same time. Wonderful times of the year to visit is definitely spring, summer, and fall. Fishing is available for those that want to and it’s an excellent spot for photographers.

Great place for a nice evening walk, the park is always clean and feels safe. Beautiful foliage!

I decided to check out Hop Brook Lake for the first time yesterday, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was beautiful! I wanted a new and different spot to take my dog for a walk. And, this was definitely a great place to do so. The staff that was there were extremely friendly & helpful. They gave me a map of the park and explained where everything was, and answered any question I had pertaining to the area. There are tons of well kept trails & paths, picnic tables with grills to have cookouts, nice lakes that you can even go fishing at, tons of pet stands that have bags & garbage disposals in them so you can cleanup after your furry friends, restrooms with areas they call shelters where you can stop to regroup, and much, much more. I definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for a nice spot to go to – either by yourself, with friends or family, and especially with your dogs. This is a beautiful place to go to when you want to escape from the daily grind & chaotic hustle & bustle that life can be. You can get some alone time, fresh air, and be one with nature. While also having an assortment of activities to do, to make for a memorable experience. It’s well worth it – so what are you waiting for…get up & go out there, you won’t regret it.
