Pratt Farm offers pet owners and their four-legged friends a peaceful, dog-friendly hiking destination in Middleborough, MA. Renowned for its scenic pet-friendly trails, this park provides a relaxed, natural setting with beautiful, mature trees – some described as looking “straight out of Fern Gully.” Whether you’re jogging, walking, or exploring with your dog, the well-maintained network of trails is a wonderful option for outdoor adventure and bonding with your pup. The “trail tales” signs add a fun family touch, keeping kids engaged while wandering the paths.
While there are some reports that trail markings may be faded, visitors appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and cleanliness of the area. It’s important to note that amenities such as fenced dog areas, water fountains, or benches are not specified, so plan accordingly. Dog owners are strongly encouraged to clean up after their pets to help maintain the park’s reputation for tidiness and respect for nature.
My wife and I were there yesterday morning 10/23/25. And we saw dog crap in 2 bag’s, 1 green, 1 black. If your dog takes a dump, put in a bag and take it with you don’t leave behind. It’s pretty disgusting seeing that left behind.
A good trail network (not too large not too small) 10/10 would hike/ruck/foxtrot (jog walk intervals with occasional hill dash challenge) again. Amenities and clear markings for some of the main trails and through trails, and outer range of the trails, leaves a little to be desired and therefore not my highest rating for now.
