This is among the best places I’ve discovered as a post race add-on 🏞. Long water fronts and nature trails, this is an excellent environment for easy walks and post race nervous system recharge. Lots of natural light. Public water supply so no swimming. It’s within walking or driving range of horse country. There were several trucks parked and horses 🐎 in play. I thought I could go through Long to get to town center. Apparently not, or it’s off road enough to be not worth it. The one thing I’d suggest is, I’d you make more trash bins available, people will use them 🗑. I cleaned up several pieces of classless litter, nothing you can see from the road but some of the trash never fully disintegrates. I could tell from some of the pieces that were very, very old and frayed 🚬👎.

Snake River or long pond river is a good paddle with the water high. It’s like a maze with the low brush. Lots of wildlife, Osprey diving for river herring. Put in at Tamarak park in Lakeville.

Absolutely beautiful place to relax and catch a sunset. As the name implies, this spot lands between the lakes. With a beautiful contrast between the trees, lakes, and vegetation I couldn’t think of a nicer place to relax! Must go if you are in the area!
