This place is big!!! The park had quite a number of sections. You could walk round it but that itself is an exercise of itself to keep fit 💪 😀 there is track and field, soccer pitch, volleyball courts, football pitches, of course basketball, and tennis. I saw a lot of children play areas to, and overall the park looks well kept. Good for family time

Juniper Park is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places around. Whether you’re going for a quiet walk, a jog, or simply to unwind, the park offers a perfect blend of nature and serenity. The trees are tall and lush, the walking paths are clean and inviting, and there’s always a gentle breeze that makes the whole space feel refreshing. It’s especially stunning in the early morning or at sunset, when the light filters through the trees just right. Over the years, it’s become a favorite spot of mine!! a true escape from the city’s noise, full of beauty and calm.

As someone who recently moved from Oregon, I’m always on the lookout for nature spots that remind me of home, and Juniper Valley Park does just that. Tucked away in Queens, this park has quickly become one of my favorite discoveries. It has a peaceful vibe, lots of trees, open green spaces, and a sense of calm that brings back memories of the parks I loved in Portland.

What makes it even better is that it’s so close to home. Whether I’m going for a walk, relaxing on a bench, or just wanting to get some fresh air, this place has become my go-to escape. I’m grateful to have found it and will definitely keep coming back. It’s a little slice of nature in the middle of the city, and for anyone craving that, Juniper Valley Park won’t disappoint.
