I have been a resident of Miami Beach and dog owner for 20 years. The Flamingo Park Dog Park is constantly a mess. It is always muddy and full of holes. Park and Recreation do not keep it well maintained. Most recently my 1 year old puppy cut his mouth on a large broken glass bottle that was in the gated dog park. Parks and Recreation team keeps the baseball, soccer, and other areas very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, they neglect the dog parks where our furry friends are supposed to be playing .I will not take my dog to this park again. I will go to South Pointe Park or Pine Tree even though it’s further away. I prefer my dogs safety over convenience.

Great dog park but the Large Dog owners are SELFISH!!!!! Every time we bring our small 16lb poodle there BOTH sides have Large dogs running all over even though they have their own space that is double If not triple the size of the small dogs area.Selfish inconsiderate owners!!!All dogs should be able to enjoy the park comfortably.
