Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Gill Ave Dog Park is a pet-friendly destination located right in Methuen, MA, ideal for dog owners looking for a safe, designated space for their furry friends. With separate fenced areas tailored for both small and large dogs, this park provides an enjoyable environment for all sizes and breeds. The open field adjacent to the park is great for dogs who are well-trained off-leash, giving them extra room to run and play in North Shore Massachusetts.
The park features a water fountain (water bubbler) for both dogs and people, though it may not always be operational. While the grass and maintenance could be improved and guests should take caution for occasional glass or leftover waste, the park’s dual fenced spaces, friendly atmosphere, and openness make it a convenient stop for locals seeking dog-friendly spaces. Families will be glad to know the park is good for kids, and it’s a wonderful spot to socialize dogs in a relatively quiet setting.
Terrible dog park. The water fountain is never on, grass is not taken care of.
Took my little yorkie here yesterday. Really nice dog park for both little and big dogs!
Has a water bubbler for both dogs and people in the entrance.
Nice open field next to it if your dog is trained to be off leash.
Great place for dogs. BUT one piece of fence is high-a dog could definitely slip under. Lots of poop-sad that people don’t clean up after their dog.
We have gone 3 times and there wasn’t anyone else there. Wondering why??
water fountain doesn’t work, interior overall is ok, poop is everywhere, and people do not leash their dogs.
New dog park. 2 fenced in areas for big and little dogs. Water bubbler for humans and dogs.
Fence is a little high at some parts. Smaller dogs could definitely slide under if they wanted to.
I picked up some glass today along the fence to the street. Some people are just “special”.
Other than that I nice spot for our pups.
