FAQ for Mariposa Park in Mesa Arizona:
This is a nice playground. The only downside is there is no off-street parking.. Also, as one other reviewer mentioned, there is no shade.I like how the area is nice and open and there is plenty of space to walk/run around. Also, while most playground have a super short sidewalk, this one has a sidewalk that loops all the way around- I think it would take around 10 minutes to walk the whole thing. The grass by the sidewalk area is kept clean and nicely mowed too. There were about 5-6 workout machines, mostly weight machines and then one was a weird elliptical that didn’t seem to do much for me, and there even as a stationery bike- albeit said bike had no resistance so it was too easy. The weight machines did have resistance built into them. One of the upper body ones even felt a bit challenging.I also liked the play areas. There are about 4- a large green-themed area with a slide and monkey bars, a smaller one with red-themed spider-web shaped climbing ropes, the third one being a beehive-themed one, and finally the last one for smaller kids with a small climbing structure and spinning thingy.Super fun!
