The park’s central location within Eastmark Great Park makes it an attractive option for residents and visitors looking for dog-friendly recreation in East Mesa.
Clean park, very spacious and the fields are kept up pretty well. This is a great park to bring dogs and kids, go for walks and watch people play baseball!
Nice dog park. Most people watch after and pick up after their pups
Looks well taken care of but it’s a relatively small area with no shade or props (such as out of commission a fire hydrant).
Inconsiderate dog owners are negligent about cleaning up after their dogs either inside the park or along the sidewalks.
Three off leash dog parks with two open at at time and one that is closed for maintenance. There are two benches in each of the smaller parks and three benches in the larger park. The shade from the trees is still super limited as most of the trees as still babies. The dogs that come to this park are mostly regulars. There are rarely any problems that happen. The owners are pretty great about cleaning up after themselves and if they don’t see it then the other owners are nice enough to let them know. Unfortunately, there are always unclaimed piles of poop throughout the parks though. The rules on things are super clear but I can bet that most the owners haven’t bothered to read them since there are many dogs that don’t have licenses on them or have leashes that are longer that 6 feet or come with no leash at all. Luckily most owners with aggressive dogs keep their dogs separate from the other dogs or watch their dogs closely.
There is a great water fountain outside the dog parks that has a drinking fountain, a dog bowl, a bottle filler, and a dog bowl filler. It is great.
There are 4 baseball fields in the area. They are stretched out in the Eastmark Great Park throughout the whole section. There is a covered table area near the dog parks.
This whole area is great for walking. It is all connected to the Eastmark Great Park. The restrooms are closer to the playground end of the Great Park.
