I spent 3 days camping and hiking. The park is well maintained and the restrooms/ showers were very clean. The stay was enjoyable and I recommend it for hiking, fishing, kayak/canoe, or just relaxing.

Very nice park! We stayed 3 nights in a site we weren’t excited about- because it was directly across from the dump site – but had no issues with smells. Most all of the trails are accessible from the campsites (short 20-40 minute walks to trailheads) except for the trail on the other side that is really suggest driving to. This park has so much water it’s unbelievable. Walk quietly; you’ll hear water burbling up all around you. Smaller trails will lead you to beautiful crystal clear ponds, thriving in wildlife. 10/10 will certainly come here again.

Meridian State Park is beautiful, the staff was super friendly. Bathrooms are always kept clean. Keep in mind if you’re there in the summer the Lakeside bathrooms tend to be more humid. Only Verizon cell phone service works. You can use park wifi at the office and at the Juniper campground. Make sure to take in the beautiful views. Even if you aren’t to hiking some of them beautiful landmark like Bee Ridge is very close to the road and there’s parking spot very close

Just popped in for the day to see the park and scope out some spots to camp in a future visit. The park looked great! The lake was clean, with clear water and a nice fishing dock. We did a short hike on one of the many hiking trails that wind through out the park. Fern ledge was super cool! The bathrooms were under construction at the time of our visit, so I wasn’t able to review them, and that’s the only reason it’s at 4 stars. There are a few camp sites up a road that doesn’t allow trailers, which is a huge bummer cause I’d love to take the teardrop back there. I can go ground dweller for a couple nights 😜. I’m really anxious to come back to camp, fish, and check out more of the hiking trails. Seems like a really great park!
