Little gem of a park only a few minutes off of highway 6. Super quiet, protected from the wind, some cool, novel elements to the playground structure that made it fun for both the 2 and 6 year old. Clean, plentiful picnic tables.

I hung out here for an hour after my volunteer day and thought this was a cute little park. There’s a lot of open space to run around but if you have kids, watch them carefully if they head over to the bridge. Behind the bridge there’s a rocky area that leads down to the river that has a bunch of debris from the most recent flooding. It looks easy to slip and get very hurt down there. I walked around with a shopping bag and ended up finding nine (9) pounds of pecans by just wandering under the trees. I found out there’s disc golf here and I may practise here if i can remember to bring my Frisbee. It’s a good place to just pass the time if you’ve got an appointment by the courthouse down the road.
