Nestled atop 1,700 feet above sea level, Brow Park is a scenic spot in Mentone, Alabama, perfect for pet owners seeking pet-friendly trails and breathtaking sunset views. Though not exclusively a dedicated dog park, the area is known for its tranquil walking trails, peaceful picnic areas (some covered), and shaded spots under mature trees. Paved walkways, plenty of seating, and open spaces offer dogs and owners a lovely setting for on-leash strolls while enjoying the beauty of Lookout Mountain.
This family-friendly park also features playground equipment, a community building for events, and plenty of parking. There’s a creek, bridges, and hiking trails—with both flat and elevated sections for a varied workout. While not all amenities (like water fountains or waste stations) are specifically tailored for pets, the park’s open layout and natural charm make Brow Park an inviting destination for dog owners seeking a scenic and social experience in the heart of Mentone.
Nice little spot for great views and awesome scenery. Great place for a picnic!
Great little brown park to, among other things, watch the sunset.
Beautiful place to see the sunset ☀️
Great views from 1,700 feet above sea level.
All I can say is wow. What a view. It’s more of a sight seeing place than a park. No plane for kids to actually play. But it’s worth the stop. We went a couple of times. You have to see the sunset 🌅 just gorgeous.
