Very nice trails. Wraps all the way around and you come out the other side. There are benches close to the river to sit and rocky hiking trails.

Trails are marked with nice posts that contain the name of the trail. There are also signs throughout the smaller trails that use the alphabet for marking. Then there is the main trail which is wider and taken more care of. One of the smaller trails contained an insane amount of broken glass. At one point I wondered if someones daily routine was to smash a bottle or more everyday on this certain trail for their whole life (lots of glass for a good amount of one of the smaller trails). But the main trail was well taken care of. A few sites with signs marking interesting ruins.

The Riverfront Park is a transformation. It used to be a dump. Literally. At one point it was a commercial quarry. Then, after that was abandoned, it was used for a couple of utilities (water treatment and power line access) and people from the town dumped stuff there. There was also a loose collection of unmaintained deer and quad trails. People cleaned it up in the last few years and it is really impressive how nice it is. There are a fair number of graveled trails that receive maintenance to keep the branches back/place clean. There’s public toilets. There are signs, a walking bridge and benches. Most importantly, though, they’ve removed a ton of trash, scrap metal, tires and such, and they planted some flowers and added some bird houses and fishing spots. It is as nice now as most of the nature trails at Melvern and Pomona lakes. And it’s free! If you enjoy unguided, lightly curated nature walks, this is for you. It isn’t paved, and it is up to you what you get out of it, but there are wild animals, beautiful trees, fun spaces and lots to see.
