Calm quiet beautiful spot with well marked trail system connecting w Shattuck reservation & Charles river. On windless summer days, good to have repellant as there’s are wet marshy areas.
Really enjoyed this little 0.7 mile trail around the lake. Super easy and very well marked, easy to follow.

The trail is at a very quiet place and has enough diversity of terrains, hills, pond, running creek. The hill elevation is mild, and moderate challenging. You will encounter some muddy trails after a rainy day. Depending on routes one can take, it can be a one to two hour hiking. The parking lot can hold 5 to 8 cars.
