Silver lake beach
Silver Lake Beach is a beautiful and peaceful park ideal for families and kids, featuring a shallow beach area that extends far out into the water. The park includes a playground and is best visited during July and August. While it is a lovely spot for relaxation and enjoying Lake Michigan’s scenery, it is not dog friendly and lacks restroom facilities. Parking can be challenging due to its popularity, and access requires a walk or off-road vehicle.

I was just at this beach today and I do not recommend it for families. Arrived at 11 o’clock and it was so busy with no parking near the beach.
Not dog friendly, no rest room facilities at all.. Accessible only by a long walk or an off-road type vehicle. Once you are there though, it is nice
Very shallow a long way out. Very nice for kids. Not a huge beach though, not to much sand to play in..it’s not lake michigan. But a beautiful park and playground as well
