I go down at the Crest of dawn and swing on the swings now to lose weight and tone up drive from my while at the end of June and it’s so beautiful and peaceful down there at that time. It’s free covered and kind of wet but just a classic feel of summer and yes clean too. I go with my man and his grand daughters and there’s always friendly kids there. No trouble makers and with the fifth Ward reputation it gained a long time ago, it is not anything like that it’s the best park on meadville with nearby Creek Ave trails that trail it.

Easy trail around the ballfields, with access to French Creek, that could be used for walking, running, biking, or even cross country skiing if weather permits. Playground near the parking lot.

The kids and I love the creek access, as well as the nicely manicured playground. Lots of room to run and play! No bathrooms, though. Awesome time on baseball nights.

Softball fields. A beautiful playground. And a lovely river walk. Really a great spot. Even has bathrooms on site!

Has four ballfields that are clean and well maintained. There’s a trail that circles the ballfields going into the woods that has plenty of wildlife around like frogs, squirrels, rabbits, many birds, and deer. There is also a nice sized playground for kids to play on.
