This is specifically for groups that enjoy the slower things in life. Absolutely amazing spot to enjoy views and stars. Beds are super comfortable. Overall an awesome stay.
Quaint little Campground with hotel and campers to rent for the night. Dave, the campground host, is awesome. Full of great information and very friendly! If you’re looking for the Ritz this ain’t it but if you’re looking for a good place to lay your head in an amazing environment it definitely is!
Great little place pretty much out in nowhere which was exactly what I was looking for. Bathrooms kept clean. The owner is very responsive via phone and nice but I never actually saw anyone working there. Great views!! I think it’s mostly seasonal folks- very friendly. 2 cautions.. there are wandering dogs there… they seem ok but if your dog doesn’t like other dogs just be aware. Second… definitely don’t follow Google maps…2 miles after Dollar General you’ll take a right onto Meadview, then take a left on Sandy Point, then left onto Hualapai Creek. Youll save your car and camper a lot of jostling. I would definitely camp here again.
We stayed for a couple nights while visiting the Grand Canyon skywalk. Coming from New England it was very fun to stay in a western desert town. Lots of amazing views and areas to explore. Dog friendly. Has w/s/e and not much else but we had a great time
Let us check in late, we got the best tent spot! And showers were awesome. Free coffee in the morning, AND they had the coolest dogs around. Super cool place. Wish I could give 20 stars!
